AFO 2008?

Unfortuantely I willn't be there this year. I just can't afford to come down. I'll have something for next years contest and return to AFO hopefully.

You guys have fun. IcyCloud go dominate comedy again.

I actually sent my Otakon video to AFO in the hopes that I could at least come on down for one day. I was going to fly from Virginia to Orlando for Saturday, Orlando to Atlanta for Sunday (AWA staff meeting), and back to Virginia on Monday. Although AirTran is cheap enough for me to buy the plane tickets, I couldn't logistically make it happen, and as a result, I had to ask them to make my video non-competing because you have to attend AFO to be in the contest. Rats.

I hope AFO was awesome.

Oh it was! This year was maybe the best AFO I've been to. *counts on fingers* Wow, I've been to AFO four times now? That doesn't seem right...

Still! We had to leave early on Sunday meaning I missed the contest, how'd it go?

I think this year's contest was a little bit better than last year's.

Also, just a random quirk, but I wonder why on the title cards for each AMV, they never put the AMV's Title. It's always just the editor's name, song, and anime.

aqua used one of my all time favorite songs to one of my all time favorite anime. i came.
i would have stayed and hung out after the contest, but i had to rush home and change all of my password. laptop went missing in our crowded room

I sorta feel like I was the odd man out, cause I can safely say that my video was better than all of the other videos that didn't place.

Sorry to hear that Minion. I know I was super paranoid/careful where I put my stuff (out of frame) whenever anyone wanted a cosplay pic of our little group.

Not so sorry to you LocoJoe. You won last year. =P

even though they were both made by the same person, I think.

I was a little surprised that they played locojoe's b/c it was definitely more than PG-13, but I guess I'm not familiar with how much they can let slide.
