Congrats everyone! I'm going to have to go searching for whichever AMVs are uploaded here, I only recognize a couple. But more importaintly, now I can RELAX.
Zomg, I just realized, I'm also in the contest, indirectly, because of you. If anyone can guess why this is, you all get a cookie.
OK now you have me curious. I mean you are listed as a proxy for someone but the person you are a proxy for didn't make finals.

do tell. :)

I'll tell Hagaren to PM you. He wants people to figure it out. :D

Holy crap!!!! I actually made it in! I thought my video was too light to make it into the finals. YAY!!!

Congrats to Ben (and Bryce). This will be the first year at AX where I can actually relax and enjoy the contest because I know I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell against your video.

Speaking of snowball's chance in hell, everyone else in the contest must bow before Rider! I'm putting my money down for this video to take it all - Best AMTV-Pro, Creators' Choice, Judges' Choice, Staff Choice, Audience Choice, Best of Show. It'll be the biggest landslide since the Kevin Caldwell era. If AX has any integrity, they'll start giving out the director's chair again, just so Rider can have one. She certainly deserves it.

It is indeed good to see you in competition again. Will you be coming to AX?

HAHA.. I did entertain the thought...I wish... I spend too much time at cons already! Come to think of it, you should come to Sakura-Con one of these days and see the biggest dedicated AMV room in the world for yourself :D

Anyways, yes I trust digitalpanther to do a good job so I figured it was time to send in something again... You should find my vid very amusing as it's parodies a movie(s) you probably seen.

Wow twice, and this is my first time making it into the contest after entering for three years. I doubt I'd win the drama category in any case, as I never even expected to have that vid make it so that came as a complete surprise to me.

But for AMTV Pro, I really put a lot of effort into it and I'm really glad that I made it in, for those that went to Fanime AMV Contest you got a good look at it (IN HD BABY!). But here's hoping that there is some fierce competition as I'm up against Rider for the first time.

Congrats man! Told you time and perseverance pays off. :)

Now you can enjoy the full and undivided attention of a packed room instead of people walking in and getting seated this time.

I'd really have to thank you for getting me into AMVs in the first place or else this would have never been the case, I really have to shake your hand this year. :D
This is a complete step-up from the Pre-Show, but I thought my chances were slim due to my main entry having several bad frames (doh). People can finally enjoy my work in the masses, the fact that it's in AX means a lot to me, so I don't care if I win or anything, just to be in the competition itself is the reward,

I'd love to, but I can't afford it. Now, if Sakuracon were to invite me as a guest (did I mention I am also a voice actor and cosplay host?)...

Yeah man, looking forward to seeing you at the Meet and Greet. I regret that I won't be able to see your vids on the big screen this year.

Even though it's content to make the contest and be shown, don't feel too bad about having a desire to win. I think Rider has been trying to "dethrone" me for years when in reality I've made it into less AX contests than she has at this point. :P I consider it a friendly, yet really entertaining and hilarious rivalry which makes it a really fun reason to enter the contest.
