It was amusing. Kinda wtf, but it was probably a formidable entry.

That was the point. I wanted to make a WTF moment....

Plus, I wanted to get a clip of One Piece into AMV Hell that does not involve Jango, the guy with the heart-shaped glasses and that blasted Dance Carnival of his (see AMV Hell 3 if you don't know who I'm talking about).

Also, the character used in my AMV, Captain Smoker, was royally screwed up by 4kids in the english dub of One Piece. It's just my small way of trying to repair the catastrophic damage to this series' image in America by 4kids Entertainment.

(Anyone who has seen the original One Piece anime and then the dub knows what I mean.)

Oh trust me, I've seen AMV Hell 3.

Isn't One Piece fairly prominent in the credit sequence? Granted, it's from a different AMV entirely, but it could be considered a part of AMV Hell.

I'm pretty certain OP wasn't used nearly as much as Azumanga Daioh. Man, that anime gets around the AMVs, doesn't it? The best one I've seen won Best Dance / Upbeat AMV at Otakon 2005 ("Waka Laka (for Ozaka)"). I highly reccomend you look it up at a-m-v.org.

And I promise you'll not get the song out of your head for a long time afterward.

I noticed something...

whenever someone writes out the "you-tube" word in an entry during the editing, it always comes out on the other end without the "e." Anyone know why that is?

no... i wont use Youtube... but i'll post the link for you to download all 15+ videos.. (so far i only have 15, but im working on more)

win or lose, its gunna be.. HELL!
