Hrmm. Well, I guess I have no choice but to let my fit fall on dead ears around here and get my support elsewhere.

*sigh* I can't believe people don't get more worked up over a competition like this. Not only that, but AMV Hell is one of the most famous and prestigious AMV series out there. I'm surprised more people aren't bombarding submissions to this contest. Art competitions are the pinnacle of "selling yourself," because your creations come from the soul. If somebody who did a worse submission than yourself wins, it's a terrible insult (yes, I feel INSULTED over this). That's why I believe intellectual property is the most valuable property in the world.

But I could go on spouting philosophy all day. I'll just leave it at that. I'm probably never coming back anyways because I won't be able to do a submission for round 20 (also a reason that I'm angry about losing round 19). I'm not going to disappear, though. I'll just stick around as a fan of AMV Hell.

That's as may be, but I feel the truly deserving entrant won that round (16). It was very funny.

I wasn't eligible for round 16 for several reasons, (3 weeks late + it was my song selection anyways), so that's kind of a moot point deuce :P. Although, to do a little nitpicking of my own, MarlinBeta, you can't really conclude an argument with a statement about an unrelated topic :P
I could add some things to the argument of the last page of this thread, but at the risk of overstirring the pot, I'm going to just stay away from this one O.O

I am sorry you did not like my entry. Honestly I did it for fun, as most people who make Music videos do. It seems to me that you have some issues with being rejected. I agree that the video Haunter103 posted was a great video with better editing in both lip sync and visual cuts. As to the quality, if you want to see the original quality of what I posted it is available here

Please relax and take a deep breath I think that you only have eyes for your own creation. I hope not to sound rude, but your video was no better than mine, and just because you found yours funny doesn't mean everyone else did, just as I'm sure not everyone found mine funny. I honestly did not think I would win.

Again to re-iterate on the point of quality and editing skills, if you read the rules posted at the beginning, there is nothing that says the editing is being judged, only the humor.

And on another note:

I would like to take this moment to appologize. It was my viewpoint that the current situation was creating circumstances that the majority of people here disliked. I was hoping to be the voice for everyone, but apparently I read the crowd wrong. For my own personal enjoyment I sometimes enter into conflicts because I think it's fun. Honestly, I was expecting support, not flak. So, from the bottom of my heart, honntoni gomenasai.

I'm willing to let this go now as long as everyone else is.
