There's another thread on the forums for NSFW.
I'll get with Toni about posting the results for it.
But next year we're gonna need more people willing to cross that line from "safe" to "not so much."
Also, blame Katsucon for failing to change the online schedule or posting announcements to the Info Desk.
Too many people didn't get the word about the AMV programming block being on Saturday night and the award show being a part of that.
Next year will be VERY different.
There's a lot to explain about what very nearly went very wrong and the things that did go awry but I'll get to that later.
As soon as my faithful minions send me the numbers from the vote count, I'll post the details.
For now, look out for the end results later tonight.

Was the audience reaction mostly laughter or tears?

A combination of laughter and "Oh god make it stop!". More the latter the longer it went on.


As for the NSFW contest...oh man. I felt actively bad for a couple. It was basically an audience who was there to see nothing but gratuitous boobies and so were really loud and worked up. There was one video in it that was serious and just had a couple R rated scenes to it that actually got booed. I couldn't believe it.
