To whoever the winners are in Round 20, congrats and kudos to you!
My very first AMV was for this contest and it was a runner-up in round 10. Don't count yourself out just yet (unless you left in subtitles, in which case you're fucked).

Got my info for Round 20 up. 4 for Albuquerque and 1 for Boyz In The Hood.
(unless you left in subtitles, in which case you're fucked)
On a humourous note, all the times I had subtitles in my entries I actually put them in there myself, even if they were what was actually being said/close to what was being said.

Nah, I didn't leave the subtitles in. The only one that had any text was in Round 17, when I added the "Turks" logo in timing to the "Cops" logo.

Oh, sorry, I thought you were saying you made an entry for this round. Now I feel all kinds of awkward...

Deleting Subtitles?

Post by RanMouri82 » Thu May 25, 2006 10:57 am

Hi everyone! I'm relatively new here . . . this was my first (and obviously only) time entering AMV Hell CE.

Aack! There was one, very brief entry (for "F*cked Up Girl") where my clips had subtitles. A friend once told me there was a way to get rid of them, but how? My only program is Windows Movie Maker, and I don't think that includes a way to get rid of subtitles.

EDIT: Nevermind! I just found the page on this site that talks about it. And it turns out another one of my submissions had the [adult swim] logo on it, too. -.-*

But aren't the Adobe programs expensive?

It just depends on what you consider expensive, but if you are looking for a somewhat cheaper version Adobe Premiere Elements will run you a cheap $100 and if although there is a bundle with Photoshop that's only like $50 more.

And there are... less than legal ways of getting it... 8-)

Added my round 20 entries to the wiki, and added clarification to a couple past rounds where someone else used the same anime as I (if i do it, they don't have to and everybody's happy :P)

I can't speak for every round, but it looks like all the entries are listed for the rounds I judged, except for 1 entry in round 19 which used the 2nd Ranma movie.
