Well, I'll give the judge's awards as well as my own choice awards and the winner each a certificate, but I'm not shipping anything. I've got enough costs going into the prizes for the actual contest. xD
Speaking of which, I think I mentioned this already, but it will be a few weeks before they actually get sent out. I have a lot to accomplish with it, and next week is finals week, so I can't give them my full attention until the 14th, and I'm still waiting on the design artist to get back to me with our logo designs and whatnot.
Maybe next year I can actually plan this ahead of time and get them ready BEFORE the contest begins, perhaps even some decent trophies/plaques and not just tacky framed certificates. I just never expected it to go this far, to be totally honest. By round 2, I thought everybody was gonna drop out. xD
I also need to adapt this into a con somehow.

Hopefully next year I won't have so much crap happen around the same time as P:E.

This. I'm afraid my Pro video suffered for my focus on P:E.

Perhaps I should start it a tad earlier next year, so it won't interfere with AWA/Otakon as much.

/looks at ACEN dates
That'd make it start up on May 23 for round one and end before July 31st. Considering this one took from March until nearly August, and unless people want pretty much just one/two days for each. 2 months is *probably* doable, but I'll need to do some more thought behind it, especially with how many rounds needs to be accomplished. There isn't any big obvious Con that I'm missing between May 23 and July 31, am I correct?

The ACEN/Otakon/AWA corridor is pretty dense with deadlines for big contests, so you might be better off starting after the AWA Pro deadline, since there's far fewer deadlines later in the year.

Ok, sounds pretty good then. I'll schedule sign ups around mid-end July, and the actual contest can begin in August, and we'll have the judging period extended for one day during AWA, so everybody can enjoy that con and not have to worry about NeoEditor. [I'm not sure how many entrants we'll have for NeoEditor II, so it might be done before or after September] D
I think that sounds pretty doable... Especially with the other things I have outlined for next year's contest, which I'll get more into TONIGHT.
Speaking of which, I've yet to get ANY scores from any of the judges, and this worries me. :O
