people will have to adjust checking out accordingly. The front desk can
hold baggage, check out can be done from the TV. It should not be that

All in all, Sunday is a bad day to schedule anything so I would
appreciate your understanding in being flexible here."

Boo!

I guess an inconvenient overflow is better than no overflow at all. But still...boo!

So the AMV Overflow is getting moved to Sunday? Were there any plans for an encore of the contest on Sunday like there used to be?

Given what happened last year, I'd like to remind everyone NOT to go complaining to the other Otakon staff about this until we actually see them release a tentative schedule publicly.
We're probably not supposed to know about this yet, and we don't need to get Vic in any trouble with the higher-ups.

Wow...I did not make the cut...I am really surprised. Although I suppose with my quality issues and rather...odd choice of subject matter it was inevitable. Oh well I will still be attending. There is always next year.

Ugh. Head, meet desk. Again.

Now we non-finalists have to worry about our little AMVs getting even fewer viewers at the Overflow instead of 2600 viewers at the contest showing. Again.

What's even worse is that I may have to leave Baltimore early on Sunday morning to get back to work that afternoon. Tech support waits for no one, especially if you still haven't been granted the time off that you put in for FOUR MONTHS AGO.... *sigh*

Well thank you so much ^^. ON reflection It was rushed, because I have been working this summer as a graphic designer, so super busy, and really wasn't my best work. And stuff like this really only inspires me to do better next year :)

Oh shit son! But it figures that I'd make the finals for Otakon's AMV contest during the year that I decide not to go. Since I'm going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for my birthday, there is no way that I'd be able to go to a con that happens 2 days afterward.
