Tomorrow is the last day to submit to Anime Blues Con's AMV League Event! And don't forget about our last two events for Season 2 - Anime Austin and San Japan! And our first Season 3 event at Tsubasacon!

Here it is! The Finalists Video for Anime Blues Con! We had to cut a LOT of videos for this event, so be proud if you see your name in lights up there.

Also putting out a call for Anime Austin! We need more videos in all categories for this one, and there's only one week left to submit! Can't wait to see what y'all come up with.

Anime Blues Con results! It's a three-peat for Maboroshi Studio as he wins his second Best Drama award for a Testurou Araki/Wit Studio anime set to a Les Friction song. Nicolio1313 presents a fantastic Best General piece with bird and feather themes set to classic rock. And a total newbie roars out of nowhere, surprising us with a Best Action showing with what is apparently only the second AMV she's ever made.

Another quick reminder that Anime Austin's deadline is midnight tonight! It's a first-year con being put on by some fantastic people, and we'd love to be able to have four winning entries to send off to the nationals, but in order to do that, we're gonna need a few more entries!

For once, we're actually in need of more General and Drama-themed AMVs, so send us your tearjerkers, thrillers, character studies and just general-ly awesome AMVs!

If you've got something waiting in the wings, then by all means, submit it! This is our penultimate Season 2 qualifier, so if you want more chances at winning "Best AMV of the Year", send in your vids as soon as possible.

Anime Austin is in the bag! In a rare turn of events, we didn't get the required minimum 4 Drama entries, so we wound up with two winners. AntaresHeart07 claims her second AMV League win and Xophilarus proves how good she is at both giving people boners AND making them sob endless buckets. Take that as you will.
