"troll-checked"?

I can guess what this means having spent time in chatrooms, but is there a formal definition? I am still VERY n00b at this and don't want to get labeled a troll. :?

Well... as stated in the contest main page:
Anti-Trolling Policy: Regardless of the date that we receive your entry, should your entry receive a major award at another anime convention prior to June 7th, your entry will be disqualified from the final competition. Any award that your entry wins AFTER June 7th will not be held against you.

Lawyer: Sorry, we can't use any of these videos.
Vic: Why not?!
Lawyer: Well, they are just too good to be shown at Otakon. You have anything that sucks?
Vic: ::facepalm:: unfortunately.

So pretty much the same as last year. I thought I remembered starting earlier in the morning and not running as late though.

Do you mean because there's so many good videos that some will have to be cut, or are you referring to legal issues causing otherwise very decent videos to have to be cut?

Darn, and my long decayed Uncle Fred was so excited about it too. D:

I've been VERY carefully picking out potential legal issues, and every submitter that had a potential problem, corrected it before the deadline. ~I~ don't see any legal problems with anything that we have right now.

What I mean is that there are so many GOOD videos this year, that because of time restraints, not all of the really good videos will make it in. Only the best of the best. This means that the contest itself, will almost be as good as Jeff's contest intro! ;-)

In other words, the Otakon pattern holds for yet another year.

(For those new to the contest, it's the opposite of the Star Trek movies.)
