don't agree with this. videos should be acknowledged for all achievements imo.6. While editors can win multiple awards, videos are only eligible for one award. If a video wins Best in Show, it does not win the category.
just my two cents tho.

The rule is modeled after every other con up here in the New England area. Now that you point it out, though, It's also a tad bit redundant to actually have it listed as a rule like that, because the method we use to determine best in show already takes care of the conflict.Rider4Z wrote:i was gonna enter until i saw this rule:don't agree with this. videos should be acknowledged for all achievements imo.6. Honestly, why? If an editor makes multiple videos that earn a reward, why should s/he be limited to only one of them because "a different video in a different category won a better award. To me that is like telling Ford "Hey, we know you made two really good cars this year, but they both can't get a 5 star crash test rating, sorry."Rider4Z wrote:i was gonna enter until i saw this rule:don't agree with this. videos should be acknowledged for all achievements imo.6. My two cents: I think this is an excellent rule. It gives different videos a chance to shine in different categories. Seeing the winners list as "this one video took 5 trophies" is annoying. Having one person sweep the winners circle is an automatic facepalm IMO.Starcoffin wrote:Honestly, why? You're confused. Read it all again. It doesn't say that at all.Starcoffin wrote:Honestly, why?
