Yep, we determined that a little bit later in the conversation over on the Kunicon boards, described as the one with a lot of hexagons :P

I have a pretty damn good hunch that's "Olin."
I do believe you are right (name sounds familar). I would love to know how that was made. The editing in that vid was incredible!! Really neat beehive/eye/hex thing going on there.

He used aplenty of hexagonal masks over clips with the 3D layer in After Effects... he pulled it off really well, and I wouldn't have the patience for that hard work.

I don't remember the names of the winners, but the Best in Show video was a high energy (eye candy) fast paced Metropolis vid set to an industrial/rave type song w/no lyrics. **BTW - who ever made that video - it was VERY NICE!! Really well made and perfect timing to the music great editing job.

The video that won best TECH was from Rahxephon and was full of really good special FX.
So... Evolution Redux and Olin? : ]

I noticed that, too, but....I didn't enter Evolution Redux. Didn't enter at all, in fact.

The only other Metropolis vid that I can think of that fits the bill would be Metropolis Reactor which was in the 2003 AWA Masters. The creator of that vid (SushiBoyJared) is from Orlando.

The video title is called Metropolis Objection if I remember correctly from the Kunicon forums. There is an entry for it here on the Org but last I checked no download link.
