Here's my vid:

I'd just like to add that all of you are DQ'ed for your vids not being exactly 7.53 seconds long. 226 frames at 29.970 is 7.5408742075408742075408742075409 seconds and 181 frames at 23.980 fps is 7.5479566305254378648874061718098 seconds long. And the best you can do with 23.976 is 181 frames which gives you 7.5492158825492158825492158825492 seconds of video.
My vid on the other hand (as you can tell from the awesome filename) is exactly 753 frames at 100 fps, which just so happens to work out to... let me see... 7.53 seconds!!!
DQ'ed!!!

7.53 seconds...
Since I come from the fat crayon school of mathematics, and since I believe that anyone who carries their decimal places out to 31 positions is secretly begging to have their underwears wedged up between their shoulder blades, I'll go ahead and clarify this right now.
If I play your video, and Winamp says 7 seconds in the duration column, I probably will assume it's 7.53 seconds. If another editor calls you on it, and you are off my more than .2 seconds, because .25 is one too many decimal places, then I will run your video through VdubMod and get a really anal count of how many hundreths of a second your video is.
Unless everyone wants this done, in which case that's cool...I'll do it.
Otherwise, don't worry...you don't have to go re-encode your video and change the frame rate so some bizarre multiple in order to not be disqualified. I'd rather like your video than watch it at 1000fps just so you can fit an entire episode of naruto into 7.530000000000000000000000000000000000 seconds.
Thanks for the heads up on the frame rate though, SSGWNBTD, and good job on the precision! Good luck with whatever else you got planned for today.

I'm just messing with ya. 100 fps doesn't even play correctly.
However, you could have picked a better number than 7.53.
Edit: My brain has exploded from making so many false math statements. I'm going to sleep.

Time running out
SSG...I know...I like your video, btw.
For the rest of you who are scrambling to get your submissions in, you have about 15 minutes left.
Expect to see the listing of all the videos that made it in (about 35 so far) after I get a chance to verify each one, organize them on the server, and catalog them...I plan to have this done by 0600 EDT at the latest. You will then have until midnight EDT to download, review, and vote on them....
once we have winners picked, and I see how the votes pan out, I will organize them into the MEP discs, and begin burning them. By the end of the week, I will mail out the prizes. As soon as we have undisputed winners, though, the prizes go right in the mail.
