Again, thanks for posting those rules ^^
I'll be entering at least two, hopefully three amvs. Finished the first one a few months ago. About 50% done with my current one. Hopefully I'll have time to squeeze in a third, (and upload it through ftp if nothing else, even though I'll be mailing the first two as huffys.)

the rules say july 8, 2005 and july 15, 2005.. so uh.. did they just forget to change the 2005 part?

yeah... AFO has really got me confused. This has to be the worst set up AMV contest I've ever seen, and it hasn't even started yet. July 15 would be alot better for me, but I can finish by July 1, but I e-mailed them to send me the info for their FTP server about a week ago, and they still haven't e-mailed me back.

Does any1 know this information so we all don't have to wait for a reply from the same person for the exact same information? It would help me out alot, and I could get some of my past AMV's up already.

I would go by what is in the rules. As for why they have not sent an email back I'll check on it. I'll contact Karen the president of the convention to see what is going on exactly.

well I've sent them 2 e-mails already about info for the FTP server, but I'm still not getting any reply back. Any luck w/ the rest of you guys?

I also haven't received the FTP instructions yet. I'm sure there's probably a good reson for the delay, though. AFO has always treated the editors well, and I doubt they'd leave us hanging this year.

*sigh*... the way things are goin it really looks like there isn't going to be an AMV contest. This was gonna be my 1st time at AFO too, and until I get some feedback from the guys puttin this contest together I don't even feel like finishing my AMV. I could probably finish in 1 night too, but I need motivation.

This sux... oh well. Berserk drinking game here I come!!!!!!

I'll contact the president of the convention and tell them to get moving on it or else the contest may not happen this year based on the responses I'm getting here. I really want the contest to happend this year too. For it would be my second AFO and the amv contest is one of the main reasons for me traveling from Maryland to Florida.

deng, i've been gettin out of the house a lot(which isn't necessarily a bad thing)... but i hope i can still finish this up.

i say if this goes on too long, should demand extension b/c I don't see anything gettin down on this
