all the more reason for me to make an AMV, i've been trying to think of a new idea, but the fact that WMM keeps crashing on me as soon as i begin ticks me off

although maby i should just go buy it... wait, what am i thinking??? Is Tardo Banned from entering too??

Ok then.... have you gotten alot of entries?

I have to have my video done by like the 25th anyway so I can mail it out to the convention contest I am trying for.

If you're still taking entries, I gots me a question to asks.

You have a minimum time length in mind? Because I know of a nifty little 94 second song I'm considering, but if that's too short, I can always combined it with another song, or figure out some techno remixing stuff.

Also, spoilers ok?

I've been meaning to start making videos, and WMM is just sitting there waiting to crash on me over and over, so why not?

i've had a couple of people IM me to show off betas. no actual entries yet.

so either people are taking my advice to take advantage of the deadline, or the turnout is just really low.

theres no mininum length. no spoiler restriction, no nudity/violence/content restrictions, ect.

just make a good video. show me that you would actually use this software to produce quality work

Gotcha.

Odds are, just not many people have noticed the contest. (I wonder how many active editors there are in the forums?)

Either that, or most of the people limited to WMM (us poor people) have already given up on making amvs.

I only began seriously considering making vids when I finally got a pc with a capture card/dvd drive.

In the end, I am less concerned with winning this contest than with motivating myself to start making all of the videos I've had in mind for months and months. Hopefully this first one will get made and be entertaining.
