Yes, on the submission form there is a question asking if you are going to be attending or not. I wonder how that person was able to get it. While it really just plain stinks that someone would do that, we all know who the winner is. Not the stealer, but you.

Also, Kiarrens is right. Adam is a great guy and when he hears about this I'm sure he'll try to send out another one to you.

On a side note, I really wish you could have been there to hear the audience's reaction, Chiikaboom! They were going wild. I had seen the video before seeing it on the big screen at Anime Boston, and hearing it blasting got my blood pumping. My friends and I were belting out the lyrics. That video will never get old.

Yeeeaaahhhh... not sure if I would trust the youtube crowd. I couldn't make it to the wrap-up panel this year unfortunately, but I wish I had just so I could have shed some light on this mystery.

I really hope that's the case because I never would have imagined someone would try to claim someone else's trophy (I mean, how would that make the person feel good anyway?). It does sound like that person is messing with you though. I've come across some very, let's say... dishonest people on YouTube.

Posting just to throw out some love for Fate's Demons. I was supremely pissed that it didn't win anything, despite being incredibly well put together and even using Genesis.

Also sad face for Serenade not winning anything either. I laughed so hard my eye popped out. .(

Chiika: Whoever took your award must have gone to great lengths to do so. Adam checked my ID when I picked up mine, so if he also checked for the Best Editing award then that person was planning this for awhile.

Either that or they made off with it when his back was turned at some point. But I think he would have noticed if one of his awards went missing and contacted you about the theft...

In any case, that person has got some serious issues. I'm so sorry!! When I heard about this, I frantically checked MY award to make sure he didn't give me "Best Editing" by mistake...but nope.
