Yeah, I didn't realize and Vic thought AnimeNext was next weekend. But it was too late, things were set in motion.

Besides, I think most would to know the final list earlier, rather than it being delayed a full week more.

Should we bring anything food-wise to help out our gracious host? :) Are you going to be ordering that delicious pizza again?

I hate to say it, but it looks as though I can't make the trip up for the Pre-Screening on Saturday.

I'm going to have to work overtime, unfortunately.....

damn...I was looking forward to meeting some new friends....maybe I'll see some of you at Otakon?

Aww that's too bad :( I worked a little OT yesterday myself T_T. Are you coming to pre-reg on Thursday of the con by chance? I am trying to help coordinate a meeting/dinner that day for the editors that would like to attend. We usually eat somewhere at the harbor. There's also the Saturday dinner after iron editor. I have a thread about it here:

I have to work that Thursday until 4:30p, so any time after that is cool for me.
I'll check that Thread out.

What is Iron Editor by the way? I don't think I've heard of it before.

We are trying to schedule dinner for 7p at the earliest, so you should be okay. We try to give people a moment to get in to the city, get settled, get their badges and so on. Definitely check the thread out. The more the merrier!

I went to my first Iron Editor last year myself and it was pretty fun. Basically, two editors are pitted against each other to make a video in 2 hours. They have pre-selected series that they have to use as their sources as well as a surprise source that isn't revealed until the event. While the editors are doing that, the staff keeps us onlookers entertained by games and showing amvs. If you have a DS, pictochat is also in full swing and I highly recommend it. It's impressive to see what the editors can whip up in just 2 hours.

Ooooh, Iron Editor sounds like fun. Actually, it sounds a lot like how my normal work day goes...lol.

How do we sign up for Iron Editor? I'd love to get in on that.
