I get the feeling that the sudden influx of videos has to do with the latest batch of shows coming out of Japan these last few seasons. I'm pretty sure everyone wants a slice of the Attack on Titan and Kill la Kill pies while they're still hot, Hunter X Hunter is finally having one of it's biggest story arcs animated, Watanabe is cranking out his new show Space Dandy, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is getting an anime reboot for the Stardust Crusaders arc and Sailor Moon isn't far behind, and a resurrected Toonami block is hyping up people who may have not even watched anime before or even outside a few mainstream shows to try some they've never heard of before.Rider4Z wrote:I feel like making finals this year will be as tough as it was '11... when dere was cash involved...
I'm no analyst, but it just looks like the perfect breeding ground for both fresh faces and jaded veterans to throw their hat in the race.

This is first year where it was online entries only right? A lot easier to send stuff that way. But i'll miss going to the post office the day of the deadline.LC_Lapen wrote:I get the feeling that the sudden influx of videos has to do with the latest batch of shows coming out of Japan these last few seasons. It's not an AX thread without the mandatory drama.Dvl-Jigen wrote:I feel I should clarify something here, my post wasn't meant as any kind of complaint, it was merely a thought, nothing more, and I apologize if it came off as anything other than that.

I submitted my amv towards the end of April, but still haven't received a confirmation email...should I be worried? ><" I submitted under the name of "LCWorks."

Nope, you shouldn't be worried at all. There's over 100+ other entries I haven't sent confirmations out for. I'm under a time crunch so I can either spend my free time sending confirmations, or I can work on logging and prepping them for the judges so that they'll have enough time to properly judge. I chose the latter.lc235 wrote:I submitted my amv towards the end of April, but still haven't received a confirmation email...should I be worried? ><" I submitted under the name of "LCWorks."
I'll be sending out some sort of confirmation hopefully within a week or so.
