And Best of Show. :|
This is a real real real surprising result, I actually want a judges on opinion on this. Did the idea ever come into the head on being a comedy video going into drama? Though I know that I didn't stand a chance in it, it being comedy seemed like a unfair advantage for the other videos in the drama category.

What did they play during the preshow?
They played several AMVs (including Be A Man), with Dead Fantasy, and thats it. Sadly your DBZ vid wasn't shown, I know Rider would kill to see it. :?

Curious if we can get a tally of votes/margins or places (2nd,3rd,etc)? I'm very curious about AMTV Pro the most, though I'm still saddened by the loss and probably won't get over it for weeks, maybe months.
But I'm still happy to be in the contest, let alone be in it twice, it was amazing, and I appreciated all the hardwork by the creators and Michael especially.

Also it was great talking and meeting with you Vlad, your proved that you can still rock it and you did. As I also greatly appreciate the advice (if you want to put it that way) and compliment that you gave me. You my man, is awesome.

I'll be posting Valhalla tonight if I'm not too tired.

Gotta agree here. It was definitely a fun video to watch, but did not belong in drama at all.

It was cool meeting the rest of ya'll at the M&G although since I was the F.N.G. I felt a little out of place. Although I was happy to shake Ryvannis' hand and talk to Vlad a lil' bit. "We Need You" was so awesome.

I was surprised at the venue the show took place in. I didn't expect it to be that big or hold that many people. The place where the creators sat was odd in the sense that the audio was SO loud at times it was distorted. I thought I was gonna go deaf at times. Some of the vids that I may not have liked I liked a lot better at the rescreen because I could hear the lyrics and make a connection with the visuals.

That said, I'll just shut up and give Mike mad props, cuz it musta been a doozy getting that gig together.

And I thought the National Guard was gonna have to be called in when Cloud appeared on screen, holy crap that place fell apart

Congrats to all the winners this year.

I have to agree with the others here, the Death Note Rhapsody was an entertaining video for what it was worth, but I heard too many laughs during it at the contest for it to be worthy of being a real drama video. I felt that some of the more serious drama videos were more deserving of this category. Best of Show...? I don't really know about that...

Vlad's "We Need You" is just too good for words in my opinion. Such clean and concise editing made this a good choice for all the awards it won. There is a reason why Vlad hosts our AMV Room (the largest in the world) at Sakura-Con. :D

I loved the Dance Dance Celebration AMV. Good editing and cute concept made it a very enjoyable video. AmTVPro was a very good category with several awesome videos in it. I'm happy with that result though.

I'm curious on how the Creator's Choice was decided though. Not to say the video that won was not deserving, just curious.

As for Action, I was pleasantly surprised when Micheal delivered the award to me personally while I was staffing my Live Programming Room (LP3). Haha, it was funny since I was dressed up in my Miku costume. Thanks for the comments Micheal. ;D
Seriously though, I felt Action was full of good videos all-around and that competition would be pretty intense. I'll be checking out all the entries myself again once they are available. I really liked the Nanoha video and the Initial D video personally. Awesome editing and sync in all the videos though. It was a very good contest and I was happy to come out the winner. I am looking forward to future contests with all of these editors.

Good job everyone and congrats again to all the winners(Vlad). ;p

Now that I'm back home I would like to thank everyone for an awesome time I had :D

Thanks Rider4Z and Stryyder for the awesome Meet and Greet Dinner! Thanks to Michael for all his hard work on the contest as he did an amazing job of running and hosting it.. Having 6000 people on the main events room for the contest was awesome! BTW Rider4Z, your video is awesome and deserved to win an award for it :D

And yes indeed, the audio for action was WAY too loud, but thanks Again to Michael as I went to the stage side to ask if they could turn it down and it seemed to me they did as after that it was much better...

It was a pleasure to meet everyone of you and I am so honored to have won what I did :D Actually, it has a lot of meaning to me as Anime Expo is where I won my first ever award (Back in 2001!) so it was kind of an emotional moment for me to come full circle!

Congrads to all the winners! I was happy that some of the disserving videos won something...

One question I did have (just more confusion then anything).. So best of show is based on Audience vote only? And is the judges Award separate or a part of the staff favorite (just confused there a bit as there was no trophy for the Judges Award :? )

As for am AMV room, I WOULD run it for AX if they ever wanted one as I would be confident it would be packed no matter the size.. However I think AX is too paranoid of the whole copyright thing it will probably not happend... Atleast they did allow the videos at the panel AND the AMV contest was in Main (where it should be in my honest opinion!)

All I can say to you all is come to Sakura Con and see the biggest AMV room in the world in action :D

Also... to All though who have asked me, the video is going up tonight.. Just fixing one more spelling error

Death Note Rhapsody won for drama? I agree that this was an... odd choice for the drama section. Well whatever, no offense to everyone but I was rather disappointed with the videos in the drama section this year.

On another note, We Need You was fucking awesome. I loved it and voted for it for both best of show and comedy.
Also voted for Dance Dance Celebration for TVpro.
