Haha, I'm sure they will. =3 Despite the small fanbase of editors here in Australia, the public in general tend to like watching AMVs at our cons here in Australia. ^_^
EDIT: Due to the great and unique range of AMVs we are receiving, plus I have been given some more screening time for the event (hard to get these for a one day event with so many guests and other competitions happening lol), one of the rules has been altered a bit to accommodate future entries that come:
To maintain a professional look of the AMV competition, we recommend that you do not add any forms intros or outros due to the time constraints of the event. However, if the intro and/or outro is integrated into the AMV overall, then it will be accepted with no penalty. Logos, watermarks, text or any other forms of identifiable markings that do not relate to the entry itself should be kept out unless it is part of your integrated intro/outro. The AMV Co-ordinator accepts text added for the sake of helping the story or artwork in your AMV, subject to approval. The AMV Co-ordinator will add custom made titles that will be shown before your AMV is screened.
Previously, intros and outros were not recommended but we discovered that we had a lot of them that were integrated into the AMVs overall, hence the change. To all those who have already submitted, your entries are still fine, and as stated here or in emails you may have received from me, there will be no point deductions =3
