Yeah...this has been a trying day between me and my team.
It was decided that the Hellsing entry was still too violent / gory for a general viewing audience.
I apologize for the confusion this has caused.
We're doing everything we can to clean things up around here.
It's like the thing we put in the microwave we thought would be okay to heat up before it kinda exploded or melted.
Not a big mess but still...

I just wrapped up a meeting between my staff and Division lead and lemme tell you...in the words of Norm Peterson, "It's a dog eat dog world and I'm wearing Milk-Bonz underwear."
There were, at the command of my division director, major changes to the finalists.
My hands are tied.
At this point, I feel like "hamstrung" would be more appropriate.
Anyway, the issues at hand were violence, "triggers," copyright infringement, you name it.
The result is, in spite of how highly the entries scored with the judging panel, the guys above me have laid down the law.
I'll tell you now that next year is gonna be more challenging due to the rules being more strictly enforced.
In other words, "If Disney can't show it, neither can we." :/

I think the list, as it stands now, is final unless someone wants to stick another pin in my voodoo doll.
Changes are reflected on the list now.
