That thefinalact.net guy is an asshole, and his videos suck.

To make matters worse, that trythil guy is some kind of crossdressing elitist prick who likes magical girl shows and makes videos that suck.

Not to mention idiots who use songs that make people cringe just seeing the name and anime most people have never even heard of. What a retard.

*lets out a very relieved sigh*

Damn... looks like I have to get cracking finding hosting. 8)

Congrats to everyone who made it in, and to everyone who entered- I think Matt is quite right, there were doubtless a number of excellent videos that there just wasn't enough time for in the contest.

That auction for trythil is amusing Vic- but I don't think it would work. IIRC, it's supposed to be Magic Knight Umi- and that costume was just for her school uniform. I wanna see the headgear and sword at ACen next year

Woot, I made it. The curse of the anime with too many amv's to it seems to have missed me. :P
Well congrats on those who got in, a thanks to those that entered and a big belated thanks to the judges whom watched the many hours worth of vids. I'm still not sure if I could judge myself, but I may give it a shot in the future.
Damn, now I wish I was going to Otakon, but looks like I won't in favor of going to AWA. I had a choice between the two so I choose the one the NES project was going to. I'm really eager to see the project through to the premiere, looks very promising.
Wish I could go to both though. To those that are going, remember to post them pics.

I concur. Anyone who uses Vanilla Ice is seriously depraved. 8)

Congrats to those who made it into the contest and I'll see you all at Otakon.

Well I couldn't expect much for my first 8 months as an amv creator. Our video Gene's Last Breath well now that I look back on it we have created so many better videos since the cut off day. So next year at Otakon I will hope to compete with all of the great ones and have a chance of competing against you all there because I know it will be fun and one experience I willn't forget. Maybe it was a good thing I didn't make it in on my first try at Otakon. Now I have something to strive for. So everyone that made the con this year and in the past I look forward to next year. Plus it isn't a total lose at least Starwind/Hawkings building block video as I would like to call it will get shown at least once maybe twice in the overflow. When I see you all there and hopefully this time since I have some experience I would have a shot at getting in the contest. Notice I didn't say win. I would want to get into the contest and have shot at competing. I know it would be only 2 years of experience but for me it is how much I enjoy making the videos, plus my attitude of competing, and I've notice that when anyone makes a video they put some or alot themselves into and I can see that clearly in my videos. I've looked back on the 10 videos or so that I've created by myself and my friends and notice there are certain patterns like one period two or three videos are sad or depressing. Then 2 or 3 happy and free feeling. Anyway I'm starting to ramble on here. I wish everyone the best of luck this year and I can't wait to see which videos win. Well see you all there August 8-10. Oh man that's one day after my birthday.
