Cool, I'll have to try that, cause my video sounds like complete ass on my TV. Theres no subtle elements coming through and that's crap cause I used a lot of those for synch points.
My video survived.... a tiny bit blockier than my master huffy/mpeg2 but that's understandable due to the compression to fit all the videos.

I agree. This is the first time I'm entering this contest, and really wasn't sure what to expect.

I think that's some pretty good advice :)

Last year it was 57. (I still have the discs.)
Really? Well, I stand corrected. Wayne told me that it was 48 last year, and my memory's fuzzy enough I couldn't contradict him.

I've have to agree here as well. It's my first time to have a video I could live with submitting done in time for the contest to enter. I was expecting the contest to be a good one with lots of good videos, but I was also expecting more ones I could easily not vote on.

Thanks everyone for making my first judging experience a really tought one ^^ I enjoy the chalenge ^^

I'm finished with all the discs. Excellent stuff and I can't wait to see who did which video.

I don't know if its just my set but the second disk keeps skipping videos in my dvd player... like it will go from 13-18 or 12-17 ect... Its never the same thing so when your making your notes make sure that you aren't missing any of the videos.

Some pretty stiff competition this year... I've been through everything once and have started going back and rewatching those that need it...

Hmm... sounds a little like scratched media, or your player's going out of allignment. So long as you can see all the vids, just contact us after the con and we'll see about getting a replacement set for you.

It's not just you, but to specify it's not a playback issue, it's a chapter skip issue. As in you push skip and it jumps around to chapters out of the expected Entry order.

On disc 2 it will go from Entry 13 to 18, then it behaves for a while, but I think it skips another somewhere down the road. In order to watch 14-17, you can select them from the main menu and they will go in order. But then when 17 is over, it skips to 13 and the previously stated skip cycle continues. :P

On the voting site they should make a warning about the skipping on the disks, just to make sure people don't miss some vidoes. I haven't even looked at the disks yet, but I would hate to be a video that was in the skipping problem area.

How long does it take to watch all the disks?

I heard there was a 26 min video, is that true? If so, what number is it? If it's that long, I want to know ahead of time, so I don't start watching it and have to pause in the middle to use the restroom or something.
