"Within Reason" means a day or two... and only if it was post marked before the deadline (some times mail is slow, that's life).

I did talk to Antonio on the Phone last night (he is in the process of moving and soon to be getting married), but told me he would be sending out entry confirmations to everyone shortly.
We also spoke about the extension and the decision was that the May 17th deadline is final (sorry, no extension).
The reason for this is because the Deadline has been known since December 27th, when it was posted HERE.
All the staff feel that this was plenty of time to work on your entries, and are sorry for anyone unable to finish theirs by this date.

One thing that the AMV staff might want to pay attention to is that most of New England is under a ton of water and thus many editors can't get to post offices to send out last-minute entries. I think allowing an extension until the end of next week would be fair to them.

I was going to submit something as non-competing and am currently in the process of taking finals and getting home this week. I live in a city that's half-under water (Peabody MA) and am currently right next to the very-much-flooding Merimack River in Lowell. Any help in that area would be appreciated.
