Let me just clear some things up here. When someone doesn't win, it's not necessarily because there was something bad or faulty about your video, the judges simply happened to enjoy another video better.
Everyone has different tastes in comedy. Each week, I am personally very surprised at the winner, because it is rarely the same video that I would have chosen. This just goes to show that, what *I* might find very funny, others might not necessaryly find funny.
We use 3 judges to get some variety of input on who should be winner. Each week, at least one of the judges changes, and sometimes, 2 of the judges are changed. The judges all tend to be diverse in their opinions. We have not yet had a single round where all 3 judges ranked the same video as their favorite.
So if you don't succeed, just keep trying, and maybe you will eventually. For this wildcard round, I still havent worked out exactly what will happen, but I think there could be as many as 5 videos to get recognized as "winners".
