I would normally use whole volumes. My Code Geass is in volumes. It just so happened that Ef was in episodes...

Re: Project Editor II : [Project Full] [Round 1]
Depends on the DVD. Some DVDs have the episodes in different VTS groups, so it's easier to do episodes in that case. Also, blu ray discs often have different episodes in different .m2ts, so it's just easier to just make 1 avs file for every episode.ZetZu wrote:Am I the only one that uses whole volumes..?
But I'll agree that when the episodes are all together in the same VTS or in the same m2ts, it's just more immediate to make just one script for all instead of trimming the eps in different avisynth files.

And the first week hasn't even finished yet, mirko. Seriously, how long does it take to edit a minute and a half? I figure three days ought to be more than enough, so what's your hurry, man?

I know that some people tend to procrastinate and eventually end up dropping... it's better to deal with it asap.Kitsuner wrote:And the first week hasn't even finished yet, mirko. There's a difference between procrastination and waiting for four dvds of sauce to encode.mirkosp wrote:I know that some people tend to procrastinate and eventually end up dropping... it's better to deal with it asap.Kitsuner wrote:And the first week hasn't even finished yet, mirko. Well, maybe there isn't:

Re: Project Editor II : [Project Full] [Round 1]
I probably would have been done by now if I hadn't had such a hard time deciding between two ideas which one was more like the "Tribute" theme. And it kinda sucks, because the idea I decided NOT to go with was an already completed (unposted) video...sigh.
I have about 12 seconds done so far. I decided to finished watching the end of the series because I cheated and read the episode list...and now I HAVE to finish it in order to finish my video Stupid Gainax.

lol at the LP thing Zet.
but anyways I use whole volumes its so much easier to use and replace your footage if somethings doesn't lewk so good.
And still no editing, but I got the song and story down.
