I appreciate all the recent submissions / FTP requests. We're still only about 1/3 of the way to last years numbers though - comedy, romance, and theme all need more love.

It just him me last night that I have less than half a contest uploaded and 2 weeks to go. We're on pace to have our worse turnout since our first years. Please consider submitting if you have something. Ask our past winners about the fabulous prizes

Also of note - our getting of FTP accounts is taking forever (multiple days now) so if you want to submit, ask for an account right away. I can't guarantee that you'll be able to submit if you try to do so last minute. If you have the account already, you're fine. If you don't, not so much...

I can attest to the fact that the Best in Show trophy could cause massive bodily injury if used as a bludgeoning weapon.

-5 vs. heavy armor but +2d6 dmg due to weight.

As long as it was made after last year's deadline, we don't particularly mind - especially if it's a theme entry XD

Our con chair supports the contest with such enthusiasm to put on a good show. That's our primary purpose - not to criticize people for "trolling" contests unless they happen to be from very far away and the shipping starts to hurt.

Due to the odd nature and specificity of it, i'm currently thinking of loosening the freshness rule on our theme category to 2 years. Would that get anyone to submit that wouldn't be able to otherwise?

I would normally be tempted to make something, but my computer now need to be mailed off for repairs (stupid laptop...mobo is all flaky).

This Video Was made in 2009 and shown at AB is it allowable? Because
the video I'm making now is a weird drama video.

The increase in the freshness rule would only be for the Theme category.
