Actually I am kind of relieved mine didn't make it in this year. The anxious feeling I get when I know my video is going to play under such scrutiny with an audience the size of the Otakon is almost the bad kind  It's a relief to have it play in the screenings since I knew it wasn't close to my best when I made it...yeah....at least that's what my therapist would tell me to say...if I had a therapist

Actually there is truth to that. Thanks to money problems (i.e. the compy was on loan in the pawn shop for a part of the spring...) I couldn't start my video until really late before the deadline. I didn't have time to make it really good...so it's not something I would like to play in the contest. But I still wanted it to play at Otakon :D and they are so cool at Otakon, they play them all some time or other.

I leave it to those in the contest to go through all the pangs like hair pulling, nail biting, and possible incontinence while I sit back and enjoy the contest show

Yup. I checked your amv submission form but you didn't sign up to receive e-mail about them, so you didn't.

Agreed. We demand full armor there, Trythil!! ;)

Anxiety, hair pulling..........huh? Maybe I lissed the memo telling me to do this or something. Cause to be honest I amtotally relaxed and happy.
Then again, my only goal was to make the contest. So whatever happens is not importiant to me. I'm expecting to loose anyway, so the way I look at it things can only get better.
