Baka No Con comp details [2005]

After sounds good. Since we'll all be at the AMV contest anyway, it'll be easier. We can just meet in that room and go from there.

Just got back from the "1 Hour and 30 min delayed contest" Inwhich I had to leave early, or else i would miss me bus

Anyway, here are some of the results (Ones i can remember):

Me got a "Chou Baka Award" (Silliest Video) for "The Continuity Errors of Daiohmon" -They replaced me name with Stephen

TrolltheStampede got one too, for Azumanga DIE-OH. I think it had a different title >?

Can't remember the titles for these ones...

mikestrife got two awards, i think.

heekun got an award for his Beat Crusadors Parody

Kernion Wells (HOpe iam right?) won an award for his Jesus of Suburbia. -Quite enjoyable

Moonlight Soldier was a finalist with her two videos... though I can't remember if she won..

Fifth place went to dschlag007 for Model of a Anime Individual

Fourth Place went to TrolltheStampede for Let the Chuunins Hit the Floor

Third and Second Place went to Fall_Child42 for AMV Wars and Puttin'OnTheRhiTze

Best in Show went to haunter103 for Arrogant Anthology Advance

Please correct me if some of the results are wrong or am missing any

Overall, definitely a great contest with quality entries. Congrats to everyone. I totally look forward to Next years.

Hey Mr Panda, didn't know you were there? We were up front. Most people were really surprised they weren't beat by your FF A+ amv.

That's mostly right, I got 1 misc award for otherside.

Yeah, I was in the middle. I tend to not like watching at a close distance

heh.. I was actually happy it didn't win, since it already won at two other cons. But, what really surprised me (other then the quality of the entries

) was that my damn <strike>pokémon</strike> video won something

. And it's DFA+, FFA+ is the the original flash parody by Mousekliks.

ahh... then i can assume that Moonlight Soldier did win an award.

Mr. Panda yeah I know I was certain I was going to get crushed by DFA+ and I don't know how in the Hell I won twice I didn't think they should have done that...

Well At least I can say I saw Mr. Panda ... It's a shame you had to catch the bus it would been fun to have you there to hang out with as well...

that was the best part of the convention. hanging out with other AMV creators.

Hopefully you won't have to rush off after A North, I missed the AMV party last year but I'll be damned if I miss it again.

Hotel room at CnB was a bad idea, since they cancelled the con on Sun (oh you weren't going sunday anyway) Had to pay a 90$ Day fee for checking out at 8pm. Still better than the whole $130 for nothing

I didn't hear her name and nobody mentioned any absentee winners to my knowledge, so I don't think she did win anything. I also missed the entire first half of the contest (I was only there Friday) because I was in the Dealer's room. I think I came in just as mikestrife's submission was either starting or concluding.
