If anybody is going to AFO did you guys want to try to meet up for a creator dinner or brunch or something along those lines on Saturday.

There's a Perkins across the street and on the other side a sports bar. I won't be up in Orlando till about 7:30 - 8pm though.

The con itself may have something in the way of a creators' breakfast/dinner organized like they have in the past. Might want to double-check on that.

I'll be there all weekend so any night is good.
I figured they were having the actual contest on sunday again, aren't they? (Even though I couldn't stay for it last time).

Heh...I'll probably be the youngest guy there. 15 til Sep 23rd.

(Oh yeah and I'll see if I can get a ride to st. lucie for next time. I didn't see the con listed on this site. Might wanna let the org know.)

I just talk to one of the staff members and they are checking on it right now. Also they are working on a possible amv panel that I'll be hosting. I could use maybe another creator or 2 to help me out with it. Also if you want to bring down any of your works and show them at the panel that would be fine too. Well have a panel where we'll discuss amv's and critique some amv's as well. However we do ask not to show the ones you have in the contest already. We don't want any spoliers.

Well I'll let you guys know when I hear more on the official word on this.

If you end up holding a panel, I'd be more than happy to give you a hand. I kicked around the idea of applying for a panel myself but wanted another editor to collaborate with.

That's cool. Start preparing your information so that way we're ready when we have to get started. I'm coming up with a list of things to cover. Plus I'm burning DVD's of my amv's and some CD-R's and a DVD of some of my favorite amv's to show at the panel to give some other examples.

Well 6 days to go. Just keep an eye and ear open for more info on the creator gathering at the convention.
