Okay, I've received my first entry (even though it's really before the date, but in an earlier post I said I'd take the Snow White since the deadline was pushed back).
And something else I've decided. I'll give opinions for all entries once the winner is announced. That way I can send them out all at once and keep meself organized knowing everyone got their opinions.
Well, the "official" start of the Snow White round is coming up, so I'm looking forward to more entries ^.^
(By the way, did you know "Asante sana" is Swahili for "Thank you"? so he's saying, "Thank you, squash banana!" and somehow that comes out to mean, "You're a baboon! ...And I'm not! ^.^")

Ow...my brain hurts
I've just survived my first week of college (tiredly) and I feel fine...
So the deadline for Snow White is coming up ^.^ My sis was asking, "Do you count Sunday at midnight as the cutoff time or Monday at midnight? and are you staying up 'til midnight to see who turns it in?"
No, yes, and no. Sunday's not the cutoff date, Monday is. The rounds overlap each other, for instance you have all of Monday for turning in Snow White, but Monday also starts the Pinocchio round. But once we hit midnight and it's suddenly Tuesday, you're outta luck for any Snow White's you have. Also, my email account tells me when an email is sent (for instance from one email lying around it says, "Sent : Sunday, August 20, 2006 9:28 AM " so that's when it was sent, not received. As long as it's sent sometime on Monday, you're good.
Now if there's a problem getting the email through and it misses the deadline, I'm not quite sure what to do about it. I think (but may be wrong in saying so) that YouSendIt and FileFactory may give a date and time of when the file was fully uploaded, and depending on your internet connection it may take 30 minutes to have uploaded it, or 2 hours to have uploaded it. So you may have started uploading at 11pm, but it's not done 'til 1am the next day. That's a bummer
I think if anyone really has any major problems they should PM me about it and I'll see what I can do. Otherwise your best bet is to send your video in as early in the week as possible so we don't have a problem like that.
As for the announcement of the winner, eh...you can probably expect it on Wednesdays. I don't have school that day and it'll give me time to have viewed all the videos as well as upload them to our site...oh jeez! Our site! I better go work on that!
