:O!!!!!!!!1

IT'S OVERRR!! :o (Round 1 that is...)

Today's results:

Match 21 - Chibi war vs. OropherZero

Chibi war's Source: Voices of a Distant Star
OropherZero's Source: Elemental Gelade Vol. 6
Song: The PinkerTones - Sonido Total

WINNER: Chibi war

Match 28 - mexicanjunior vs. narutoball

mexicanjunior's Source: Armitage Dual Matrix
narutoball's Source: Munto 2: Beyond the Walls of Time
Song: Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra - Rule of Danger

WINNER: narutoball

:O!!

Well, this 64 person round was definitely not without its upsets. Many surprising results, many close matches, and many cool videos! But my intuition tells me that this is just the beginning, and the later rounds are going to be even more intense.

So, without further ado... *goes off to make the Round 2 post*

hahaha that was reasonably fun(lol at all those angsty drama/action clips which didn't get used XD), good job chibi, I had a slight source advantage over you but I liked how you managed to pull off your track using the short anime you had and especially synch to that song, good luck next round!

god knows why you'd want it but here is my track: http://www.amvience.com/members/oropher ... Round1.avi =P

That's the winning spirit if I've ever seen it.

Because I'm stupidly obsessive with lists and statistics, a couple country-related numbers so far:

The US had 41 editors (excluding dokool), a minimum of 15 would be eliminated due to head-to-head US matches. Of the remaining 11 editors, only 3 survived their match, 8 were eliminated. (18 survivors, 23 eliminated, 44% survival overall, 27% of non-head-to-heads survive)

Canada had 6 editors, no head-to-head matches, 5 survived, 1 was eliminated. (83% survival)

Germany had 5 editors, no head-to-head matches, 2 survived, 3 were eliminated. (40% survival)

Australia had 4 editors, no head-to-head matches, 2 survived, 2 were eliminated. (50% survival)

The Netherlands had 3 editors, no head-to-head matches, 2 survived, 1 was eliminated. (67% survival)

Greece had 1 editor, 1 survived, 0 were eliminated. (100% survival)

Japan/US (dokool) had 1 editor, 1 survived, 0 were eliminated. (100% survival)

Mexico had 1 editor, 0 survived, 1 was eliminated. (0% survival)

South Africa had 1 editor, 0 survived, 1 was eliminated. (0% survival)

The UK had 1 editor, 1 survived, 0 were eliminated. (100% survival)

For Round 2:

The US has 18 editors, a minimum of 4 will be eliminated due to head-to-head matches.

Canada has 5 editors, none head-to-head.

Germany has 2 editors, none head-to-head.

Australia has 2 editors, none head-to-head.

The Netherlands has 2 editors, none head-to-head.

Japan/US has 1 editor.

The UK has 1 editor.

Mexico and South Africa have had all their editors eliminated.
