Doesn't matter if its caps.
Also if we submitted before the deadline and want to do a quick resubmission for frame fixes in a video would that negate the 2 extra points?

If you're rushing through last-second changes and are realizing you won't make it, you're in luck! The FMV deadline has been moved to midnight on May 11! However, you'll still get a bonus extra two points if you make the original May 5th soft deadline and submit today. Midnight of May 11th is a hard deadline, so please get it in before then. Also, if you didn't like the mash-up theme, it's OK. Those who use the theme will only receive three bonus points, so feel free to submit your AMVs anyways. So, turn in those music videos; you're still in the running![/b]

Aw, really!? It doesn't have to be theme anymore? I found out last month before the original deadline that entries had to follow the theme of mash-up and decided that I wouldn't have time to finish up a good enough video that would be mash-up themed. I was planning on sending a couple that weren't theme but when I saw this:

I didn't send my entries. I was pretty disappointed. And today I find out I could have broken the rules, not have been disqualified and gotten bonus points for sending when I had originally planned? This will probably be the only time I wish I had broken a rule!

Oooh well. Thank you for extending the deadline for us anyway. Running a AMV contest is difficult and it's hard to please everyone especially when trying out something new like this, so don't feel bad. It's nice that something original was tried. I'm sure a lot of people came up with great ideas because of it.

I might still be sending an entry or two in before the new deadline.
