I just noticed an email that they are offering online tickets so people can pick their own seating at the AMV show. I immediately pulled up the indicated page, but it says "Online sales are now closed. Tickets will be available onsite on Saturday, June 30th, for all attendees at the Main Events Ticketing Booth. Thank you and see you at the Convention!" Did they run out of online tickets in an hour (in the middle of the night, no less!), or were they never actually available?

I'm new to this Anime Expo thing, but it seems we have to get tickets for the AMV contest? And they're already sold out? Please tell me that participants get special tickets or something...

Entrants get 1 ticket + 1 extra for a friend. You're covered. Just stick with us and you'll be fine =w=

Ticketing should already be aware of this, but I will follow up with them to make sure. If they aren't, and if people already booked tickets where the AMV creators are supposed to sit, well... those people are in for disappointment.
