This is the first time anyone's had a problem with my revealing AMV titles before the contest. Since none of the participants requested I not reveal their titles, the thought did not cross my mind.

Would you prefer I announce them differently in the future?

Well see basically now everyone who saw this thread, which is pretty much your entire competition for your category now knows the name of your secret project and can speculate about what it might be about. They can then apply that knowledge to other cons such as Anime Boston where said video may be competing. And then the competition intensifies.

ANNOUNCEMENT!! ~

For those planning to attend the convention (or are on the fence about it), I'd like to announce that besides the contest, we will be having 2 extra AMV shows this year! (The contest is tentatively scheduled for Friday evening.)

Our first show is called Choose Your Own AMV Adventure! w/ Kyle Hebert. Come join us as beloved voice actor Kyle Hebert hosts and narrates an epic (and overly cheesy) adventure of AMVs that YOU, the audience decides how it begins and ends! - scheduled for Saturday at 5:30pm in Harbor Island 3.

Our second show is of the loveable AMVs NSFW. Prefer AMVs with a little more edge? Come get your fill of videos too risqué for the workplace! (No hentai. Panty shots likely.) - scheduled for Saturday at 11pm in Harbor Island 2.


IMPORTANT - The replaying of contest winners will not be played during masquerade half-time like last year (as there is no masquerade happening at all). Instead, we will be announcing and replaying on Sunday at 10:30am in Harbor Island 3.
