Okay, all but a few of the videos that were also submitted to Tekko have updated entry statuses. Every video also has an FTP account associated with it, and you all should have the instructions to upload your videos if you haven't yet (or if I don't already have a copy).

Again, if you need help with the FTP or the Contest Website, please e-mail mtac@ngsilver.com and let ngsilver know. If you have alternate download information or questions about the contest itself, you can e-mail me at john.wendel@mtac.net and let me know.

For those waiting till the last min to submit their entries, I must request that you get your entry submission in early. As there is no baked in time for FTP uploads beyond entry form submission, and due to the turn around time for an FTP account, you MUST have your entry form in by 11:59 PM EDT on Thursday March 12th (tomorrow) to be sure you receive your FTP account in time to submit your entry before the deadline. If you wish to submit an entry form later then that time, you should look into other submission methods then FTP as I cannot guarantee that your FTP accounts will be created in time for you to submit your entry before the deadline.

A few quick updates:

- Because of the sheer number of entries that are still pending, I wanted to be sure to let people know that they should check ngsilver's Contest Website first to determine if their video has been accepted to the contests. This does not mean that they are finalists -- just that the video has been reviewed and accepted for judging/prescreening. Entry statuses can be checked at any time by going to the Contest Website Main Menu -> View Entry Status -> MTAC 2015 Videos.

- I'm still seeing some video entries that use YouTube links as video links. A reminder that our contest does not accept YouTube links--we do not download or run videos from YouTube. All entries must be a video file in the proper format and sent either through FTP or some other site that supports accessible file sharing (Dropbox, SendSpace, Google Drive, etc).

If you sent a file (or a file download link) and do not see your status change by mid-day tomorrow, or you have any questions, please let me know right away at john.wendel@mtac.net

you probably have that problem because the submission form specifically asks for youtube links. Also, a lot of people are probably forgetting the close their ftp account after they upload it. It would be nice if the form accepted download links and you didn't have to go through the FTP upload.

The video link option in the entry form is only meant for after the convention downloading, not for submitting entries to the con, the form states this. I was never informed that this contest was accepting digital links so I did not provide an option for this. This seems to be a miscommunication issue between contest rules, entrants, and coordinators. I was under the impression that FTP was the only supported method for digital submission for this contest.

If my system is used next year, I would prefer a more clear definition on what is accepted.
