Something like a "This many american artists, then leave it open to editors with different day hours for a few days or something, then back to being open to everyone if spots are left open" kind of thing.Roccket wrote:Quotas ?AtomX wrote:Deciding when to do it is kind of tricky since I want to give as many people a chance to enter as possible, so I want to keep the European editors in mind as well. An ocean of dust and randomly strung together pieces of hydrogen, serving no purpose other than allowing all of us to continue in our misery, doomed to an enternity of petty squabbles and meaningless ego trips, until the whole thing one day explodes and starts the whole shebang all over again. - Chaos_Angel

Well it's just that doing that turns on a certain level of exclusivity :\ Which is something I want to avoid. I mean yeah you could say there's exclusivity if I put up the thread when all the European editors are normally asleep, but there's nothing REALLY stopping them from being awake at that hour and doing it. Whereas if I set specific hour restrictions, there would be those restrictions in place, and I don't like that...
Hence why I said, it's tricky.
Thing is though, all this worrying is probably all for nothing. I can't imagine filling up 32 spots in a few hours.

Yeah, since people have to really be sure they can do it before signing up.AtomX wrote:Well it's just that doing that turns on a certain level of exclusivity :\ Which is something I want to avoid. That's not what I meant, I was just imagining opening a few spots for the different continents or something, but well, I guess Atom will handle it right.bloodyfang wrote:Something like a "This many american artists, then leave it open to editors with different day hours for a few days or something, then back to being open to everyone if spots are left open" kind of thing.Roccket wrote:Quotas ?AtomX wrote:Deciding when to do it is kind of tricky since I want to give as many people a chance to enter as possible, so I want to keep the European editors in mind as well. that's even more exclusive than what I suggested
