The former. I'm doing prescreening on Sunday, though, so i'd like to have everything set up for that (ballots printed, videos moved to my HTPC, some rudimentary title cards, etc.) before people start showing up. I'd like to not be up until 3AM getting all that done. Also - request FTP access now - I can't guarantee the accounts will be made in time if you're asking for them the day of since i'm not the one making them and I have several appointments that day.

I planned on sending a Romance video to AAC this year when I saw that you needed some entries in that category, but I got too sidetracked with something and now don't think I'll finish a new video finished in time though I have a few betas started. (Seems like I can't quite get a new video finished lately, haha.) I almost sent an older video of mine today but I just found out that it won at a convention this week so I won't submit that one.

I have to miss out on AAC again this year I think unless I get a few things settled. I really want to go because it's my state's con, but I unfortunately I don't see that happening this year.

Anyway though, good luck to all those who submit and to the contest directors!

5 people requested FTP accounts then either never submitted anything, or only submitted incomplete or otherwise broken files (they know who they are)

All categories were brought down to 6 videos. Nothing was re-categorized - all videos either would not have made the point grade in the category they were moved to or would have violated the 2 videos in 1 category rule.
