I'm seeing the AMV Contest as 9-12 and the prior event being a GoH panel that runs until 7. Last year we formed a line outside and immediately began seating as soon as the audience cleared out, but that was probably due to the concert(?) running over, which ate into preshow time.

What I'm getting at is:
-Should we expect to line up outside the GoH panel, and will the creators be in a separate line? Although the point may be moot considering we have arranged seating (plus the Trigger panel doesn't get out until 7, and I'm still butt-ravaged about missing out on the free swag last year).
-Will the Preshow start immediately at the end of the previous panel, or will there be a time buffer to allow the room to fill?
-The AMV Encore/Awards panel is in the main hall, so we shouldn't have to go all Hunger Games for seating, right? ...or should I start preparing bribes for the bouncers?

(Off topic: holy crap there is waaaay too much to do at AX this year! A suspicious amount of Jojo panels, lots of schedule conflicts (have to sacrifice the Sailor Moon and Eiko Tanaka panels to go to the Kill la Kill one, great), and a Black Dynamite panel? The 'ell?)

I didn't know this. Really? I have been attending AX since 2006, well I missed 2009, but yeah. I never knew the AMV contest was a secret.
