Just a thought, but why not combine the two comedy categories? Maybe just do the best between the two.

It´s possible but probably some vids of one category will get more attention than others from the other category. Perhaps you got something cool that loses to other kind of video, just my thought

Comedy will stay split from here on out. Even though Comedy/p00p didn't get that many submissions, it was only 5 amv's away from becoming a contest which ain't all that bad. Plus, Most conventions still have trouble find good comedy-hell style submissions since a lot the jokes have been over-done. For next year I plan on changing it to Comedy/Freestyle which would allow any type of p00p, hell, or "anything goes" as long as its appropriate submission.

It is true what TritioAFB is saying though because in the last two contests, a AMV p00p/hell style has won while there are some great funny comedy songs that get kind of drowned out. This year we have had a lot more submissions, and as matter of fact we bumped up from the Top 10 to Top 12 this year for Action and Drama. The Comedy category will eventually evolve into a Top 12 (Currently it will stay as a Top 10) when more submissions are entered. What also helped was the increase in time allowed from 4 minutes to 5 minutes.

Still, we plan on having a great show, we'll use some of our archived comedy amv's to make up the time, which ain't a lot to be honest.

AH! I was almost a bit disappoint see as this would be my first time entering a H-Amv contest but at the same time I wasn't
