There's still 18-1/2 hours to go in the contest, and we have a change in video submission to announce.

We have given out FTP accounts to all of the videos up to and including video #133 in the submission system. From this point forward, unfortunately, we will not be able to give out any more FTP accounts. While we are still accepting new entries until 12pm (Noon) CDT tomorrow, all videos past #133 will need to provide a link of some kind (either the Org or some other share site) from which we can download the video you want judged by and played at the convention. I will be sending follow-up e-mails to entrants in case they miss this announcement.

Please continue to enter your videos, and if you already have an FTP account but want to provide an alternate method from the FTP account given, please feel free to leave a reply here, or to PM or e-mail me using the links in my profile, below.

The time to send in files has just been extended! We will collect your video files from now until 11:59pm CDT tonight! So now you will have just over 14 hours from now to get your videos to us, either through FTP or another way.

We're working on extending the time of the FTP system and to accept last-minute entries, but it's possible that those services might still automatically shut down at Noon CDT. In the case that happens, and if we still do not have your files, we will send follow-up emails to entrants whose file(s) is/are still pending.

We're down to the final day -- let's get those videos in quick!

Less than two hours to go until the submission deadline!

Unlike Tekko, I will not be sending out mass e-mails for acceptance of your video submissions, only if there are problems encountered. To check on your video's status, go into ngsilver's Contest Database and after you log in, click on "Video Entry Status" in the Main Menu. If you see:

- "Video Accepted", then your video has been accepted for prescreening or judging in the Main or Con Circuit contests;
- "Problems Found", then you should read the note on the issue and e-mail or PM me if you can resolve the issue(s);
- "Video Received", then we have received your video entry but have not yet reviewed it.
- "Entry Form Received", then we have not received your video through either the FTP or through video link, and you should e-mail or PM me right away with link(s) to the file(s).

Still a lot of time to get that last-minute entry into us, so keep them coming!

... and that's it. Video #142 will be the last one to be processed. No more submissions, no more files, deadline has been reached. We will sort through the results and let you know in the next day or two the final tally of videos. See the post above for information on the status of your video(s).

142 entries is a pretty big increased from last year which was 99. Although we got 142 entries I think after all the DQs it will end up around 124. I will admit with the ability to enter a maximum of 10 videos coupled with the awards I was hoping for more than 150 entries...

Anyway now we get to the task of going thru all the videos and determining the finalists which I hope to have done around the 25th!

I cannot, because I am poor and I cannot afford a plane ticket to go to Nashville
