Hmm, I see the pros and cons about it but hmm, I'm always different.

I'm going to school for film production next spring so I tend to take things, when editing, seriously. Its a hobby, yes, but with any contest I hate to lose. Though, with this contest I'm really not expecting anything because my video wasn't made to the best of my ability and I know this. I'm just talking about contests in general, not this specific contest.

I've been out of the AMV game for a long time so a lot of these things are surprises for me, again, the last AMV I made and contest I entered was at AFO back in 2003 so these changes are a little hard to adapt to. :P

Aren't you the same Ladymercury that had an AMV shown at Jacon this year?

Er, yes, why?? :? I'm not counting this year in my reign of new AMVs, if that's what you're thinking.

Ladymercury, I was just confused. Thought there might be two people making AMV's using the same name.

Two more days until AFO. If you have any amv's you would like to be critique or shown at the convention bring them to our panel Sunday @ 12:30 pm as we will be hosting the AMV Meat Grinder. Where we'll critique your amv and try to help you out some more, if need be.

Ha nice name.
Hmm..I was hoping for some critique from the contest judges too, but oh well. One more question: Do they still play any of the contest entries daily in the AMV room?

(yay AFO is tomorrow)

They have the schedule up on the animefestivalorlando site and they have a lot of different amv screenings this year.

Also I haven't heard about the breakfeast like last year so keep an eye on your email from the coordinator today. As for a dinner I say lets have an amv creators dinner Saturday after the amv panel. This will be provide your own cash to get food, but still we can hang out and have a good time. Well decide at the panel where we would like to go for dinner. I hope to see you all there. As always it is interesting to meet new creators. I meet a few of you guys last year at the con. Well see you all there I have to get up at 3:00/3:30 am on Friday and catch my plane at 6:00 so I'll be down there early and be getting some hours in for voluntering so that way I have a place to sleep.
