sayde and celebi - after doing a tally, it looks like I have eleven positive entries (meaning, I got links from those people). I know that there might be one person making a last minute entry, though, so I'm still waiting on that. At midnight tomorrow night (when I will undoubtedly still be awake), I'm going to start downloading stuff then...which means I need to write a few opinions tonight to clear out my "videos yet to be starred" on the main page. That's how I remind myself that I owe opinions. I don't star them 'til I've written the opinion. ^_^;;

Anyway...um...thingy!

And "Contest My Mix" is now OVAH!

Alrighty, folks. All videos are in (including a LAST last minute entry). To boot, I've also downloaded them all within the last half hour and put them into a nice little 739 MB folder named Contest.

All judging will take place on Sunday (and possibly a little on Monday), with results being posted in a new thread hopefully by Monday night.

Also, just to let you know how I'm judging, I'm probably going to watch each video through once and make a few notes on it. Then, I'll watch each one again and make some more notes. Finally, I'll go for a third pass and try to get everything I can out of it. I feel that this will make for fairly accurate scores, and it keeps the level of monotony down, since I won't be watching a single video several times in a row at one time. In other words, I won't get bored doing it this way, which can only be a good thing for you folks. ^_^

Thank you very, very, very much for all of the submissions, and I'm sure I'll enjoy every one of them~!

So i get to wait for you and zarx, the amv hell championship edition and the my mix contest are gonna be accounced on the same day.......maybe. i cant wait.

thnx for hosting this contest jen gave me an excuse to learn how to rip dvds.

Not quite on the same day, but close enough. Heh, I'm just glad I was able to get my video in close to the deadline. Christmas shopping ftl... especially when it's not even me shopping :/
