If you volunteer like 20 hours or something like that. They had a volunteer sign up sheet on there website I believe. You could always ask when you arrive at the convention if they still need volunteers and how many hours you would have to volunteer for crash space.

Being stuck in an FMA autograph line for three horus caused me to miss the AMV contest which I know I didn't win. Yay for 72 hours of rushed editing

ie: I was too busy to work on the video and had a minute left of footage so when i had the time rush edited it and had major major problems

I don't even know how it looked on the big screen or the audience reation or anything. Meh.

Funny enough, just as I was leaving AFO and saw everyone standing in that autograph line, I started shouting out stuff like "That was an awesome AMV contest! It would really suck if I was standing in this line the whole time!" (just for the hell of annoying them^^). I'm going to get jumped at AFO8 now, lol.

Anyways, major congrats to genestarwind winning best in show! Nice job man! Also congrats to Icy for winning commedy. I'm downloading that vid right now actually.

I had a fun first contest and it was nice meeting you all.

Thanks Gox777, I'm still very pleased with how well my video did at AFO. There were quiet a few good videos this year at the contest. My congratulations also goes out to IcyCloud for winning Comedy a third straight time at AFO, I'm sorry I forgot your name but if I remember correctly congrats to the person who won Best Action with the Last Exile amv and the creator that won Best Drama with the FMA AMV. I did not think about writing down the winning entries I'm hoping somebody from the AFO con staff will post the results offically on the site here or send an email out.

yeah, those asian names are definitely the hardest to remember

Thanks, guys. Major congrats to Gene and Unlimited for their wins as well (AnnaMayBelle, MaBelle, and Gox's entries were also awesome). This year's contest was a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with for next year.
