ok... i have gone through and checked all the videos as of an hour or so ago... and went in and approved all the expo, masters videos that had no problems... and all the pro videos with no problems that daric has marked as receiving the permission slip.

I appreciate the alert, i hope everything is sorted out with my entry now. i haven't entered this contest in 3 years and either i don't remember how complex the submission process was or it was changed dramatically between then and now.

This is a rewrite of the original submission site from 2001-2004. I retired at the end of 2004 so am unfamiliar with what you are used to... sorry. I am looking for feedback and have been fixing and improving things as I am aware of them. The only suggestion i had to pass on was allowing "various" as a video source. But otherwise if you see something I can do better, please email or pm me... I want to help.

The only suggestion i had to pass on was allowing "various" as a video source.

I think that was by my request originally. We need a reasonably complete list of sources (just like animemusicvideos.org) to facilitate proper searching. I'm not a stickler on this... if your video is 80% Evangelion and 20% DragonBall Z except for a few seconds of Nuku Nuku Dash, we'll likely forgive you if you don't list Nuku Nuku Dash as a source. (Though if the song is also Linkin Park, there may be no excuse for the rest of it.)

Just a note, the contest is now closed to new registrations. Quu and I will be working to assist you in completing the paperwork and finishing uploads over the next week. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, Quu) that you can expect category nominations (and video previews) to go live no later than one week from today (and possibly sooner).

me personally it wasn't clear all that had to be done on my end to make sure everything was submitted properly. so i'm glad i came to the forums and read other people were having problems. it made me double check my status and explore the site a little more. but also receiving an email saying my video wasn't upload yet helped, too

This is something I've noticed since Pro migrated to allowing 2 entries per person. The permission form, while it has multiple pages for parent/guardian permission, there is still only 1 page for the entry information. Perhaps for future years, we could have that edited so that page appears twice as well? I think that'd make things somewhat easier as we'd then only need 1 application rather then having to setup 2.

Not sure why I haven't brought this up until now, guess it kept slipping my mind.
