Jut a reminder: The FTP submission deadline is THIS friday, October 5th. Get those requests (and entries) in. We still haven't hit last year's total.

Thanks to all that have submitted thus far.

EDIT - I got word there should be some prizes included (again) in addition to our trophies thanks to a certain awesome editor who's anime goods store unfortunately closed shop.

Last day is tomorrow. Bitching at the webhost because our FTP has gone to "stupid slow" levels of download speeds (i'm talking high-tier dial-up speeds).

EDIT - Apparently some major piece of hardware at our colo is down, so we're being squeezed onto a tiny pipe with everyone else that's been displaced, and it will be fixed "soon." Attempting to make the time-sensitive-ness of our data flood known to them.

If you'd like an FTP account, get it now.

If you have one and haven't uploaded yet, get to it.

Will there be a grace period of some sort if we're having trouble at the deadline? I ask, because as I made it clear, I am running right up to the wire here, and I don't want to be finished at 11:30 only to have the FTP server cough and hack and not take the video...

So far the problem hasn't been on the upload side. It just takes me forever to download the files. As long as I can get the videos on Saturday, its fine. The prescreening to select finalists is on Sunday, so I can't give much more time. Worse comes to worse, uploading to a file hosting site and emailing me the link could work too.
