Done To Death! An AMV Graveyard.

I've made a few decisions about this contest, and I decided to update everyone on the progress.

The contest will end with round 15.

I know I wanted to end it with round 20, but there is going to be a lot of original animation going on in this project, so I need some time to make the deadline I have made for myself.

The release will be between October 15th and 31st

I figured this video would do best with it's release during the halloween season. I want the contest to be over by the end of August, so if I happen to finish it before the self appointed deadline, I also have time to request the extra bandwith if needed. I will do my best to keep this under 100MB, but I also want this video in it's best quality.

I do have the character designs finished for the AMV Reaper, and I hope everyone enjoys the final product when it comes about..

Ok, my guest jusdge was taking too long, and my sister was in town, so I had her help me out. The loser for round 12 is Rose Studios (Niji Tsuki).

Yep, sort of compilation. I'll be using an original character.(that if enough people ask, I will post a pic of.) Not all that I recieved, but all the one's I feel fit the video. I could have done this all on my own or as an MEP, but I thought it would be more fun as a contest.

So, I have some original animation to do, and a script to finish writing and record.

I've said it from the very begining, this is going to be a video about how not to make an AMV, since most people tend to ignore the guides, I kind of thought a video would get through to more people. Mind you it's not going into super technical stuff at this point in time, but all the basics that have been put up in rounds will be covered.

Plus, if this video is fairly well recieved, I have a very long list of possible rounds compiled, and could easily go up for another video, but that all depends on how people like this one.

I hope this cleared some things up.

OK! Round 14 is up and Technically, so is round 15, but it is not official until next week.

I had another idea to give all you winners out there an extra special treat for entering the contest, and I've decided to let you all BETA the final product. I want to make sure this is the best "worst' AMV ever!

I hope you all like the idea, and if any of the winners do not wish to see it until it's final release, please let me know and I will be sure to keep it hidden from you.

All other winners will recieve a link via You Send It, or some other upload network.

Also, since round 15 is the final round and that winner will not get the chance to judge, I am offering a special prize.

The winner of round 15 will be featured as one of the voices in the final video.

How does that sound for a sweet prize?

So, if you get picked, I will send you pieces of the script relating to a character in the AMV. I will further discuss the details with the winner at the end of this contest, and during further production.

If that person should not be able to participate in that manner, then I will call on the 2nd place winner, so on and so forth.

I hope this gets everyone pumped for the last 2 rounds, and if I need to renew the song link at anytime, please let me know and I shall do so!

But we'll never get to the next round if I don't ever judge last rounds videos. I haven't received them! I don't remember what email address I gave you when I entered this contest, but I gave you a new email address to send them to and I haven't got a thing.

So am I judging or not?

I did win for the Final Fantasy contest, right? -_-

just hold on, I'm sending them now. I'm giving the peeps on the west coast a fair chance at making the deadline, and I still have to choose the "Top Three" I don't send all of them, just the three best/worst, plus any wild cards that may occur, and so far, no one has met that one.
