I'm actually more curious how the harurhi one did with the audience
(I'd rather not make a habit of this since my logs are incomplete and a bit of a pain to sift through but this is an exception)

The Haruhi video got shown at least twice, 5:30 Friday afternoon and 10:15 Saturday morning. Super Cute translated a hair too far to the fanservice side by our judgement and unfortunately got shifted to the latenight lineup (where it got played once or twice) as well as the Saturday night dance.

I actually had 'Super Cute Girls' in queue to use for the gameshow in the IE but we didn't ever get down that far on the playlist... :?

Well, I know at least as far as I'm concerned, it's more of a time issue. I would've loved to submit something this year, but trying to produce videos for a number of contests and MEPs ended up consuming all of my spare time.

That, and I thought Jay was going to enter this year and utterly spank the competition. :P

Scared of the competition, eh, AquaAqua? I think that's mostly what the problem is for many people, they don't wanna get disappointed by losing, so they don't enter at all. But, I mean, you take that chance with all videos that you enter into contests.

I'm never concerned with winning or losing, MAKING the video is my biggest issue. :|

I tried to finish something to submit, but a thing called My Life™ got in the way. I suppose I can finish my video and submit it for next year.
Having trouble playing back videos? I recommend: Image

Yeah, but deadline problems will always be an issue no matter what contest you're competing in.

Oh, and never count on knowing who's competing in Master's each year. The rotation of people who make it in each time is wildly diverse and practically never predictable.

Well, I've seen a beta of what I thought was going to be his Master's entry, and it was pretty darned impressive. While I don't mind the competition at all, I know my pace well enough to know that I can't produce something of that caliber in the small amount of time I had this year. However, I'm definitely going to try to have something ready for the next Master's contest.

Heh... that's what I mean. I hear stories every year about the excellent entry that only got half-finished by con time. There's no telling which ones make it and which don't.
