Ya had to buy the dubbed ones to make amvs without subtitles. Now wit yer newfangled pee cees, and fruit computers, ya just add a few clicks and ya have it done. Why, we had to do our editing in the snow! With broken sticks!

I try not to think about those times too much. However, editing with Windows Movie Maker can be as agonizing as that sometimes. (Zing!)

WMM is actually fine for beginners. I ended up my entry in it (hence the watermark problem). That was partly because my video card was dying and WMM was the only thing that would run. But the most difficult part was the sync-ing. Especially when the beat is exactly at 155.65 seconds and it only jumps between 155.622 seconds and 156.133 seconds. It may sound small, but even nanoseconds can throw off the beat.

Oh I understand that one. My first one was on WMM and I had to export it a lot to get it just how I wanted. There were a lot of crossed fingers to deal with. Imovie is even more fine for beginners though. :P

Next year for April 1st you should just have all of the current logo (the current one then anyway) be replaced by the 1st generation banners.
