my favorite AX AMV moment occurred during battle Chef. For those who didn't already know, Castor Troy showed up drunk off his ass, unbeknownst to him a secret challenge awaited from me. He recruited Ryvannis to be his wing-man to help keep him coherent. So our computers are back to back, and I can see dean and ryan stumbling through everything. I've got my head phones on so i'm trying to concentrate as hard as i can (and having that speaker right next to my head as videos played to entertain the audience was not helpful) - I see Dean get up and go behind me where Brad happens to be standing, and I am able to make out these words from Brad:

"OH, he has no motor functions at all??"

go home ryan, you're drunk.

Not sure if I should post here or elsewhere...forgive me if this is in error, and mods, please move this post if so.

I'm trying to remember an AMV that I think was in the pre-show. I was scribbling with my golf pencil in the dark, so my "notes" aren't very good. It's an AMV that featured a song with the lyrics "Just one last time." But I have no idea if that was the title of the song, what the AMV was set to, etc. I've tried going through the list of pre-show AMVs to see if I can find the songs for those AMVs that ARE online, but so far, no luck. Can anyone help? (I'm only guessing it was in the pre-show because it's at the top of my list, before the "Kill the Lights" madokaAV AMV in the Drama category, and it definitely wasn't a trailer/parody.)

That AMV was one of my favorites this year (if not my top favorite) and I was extremely saddened that it didn't make it into the main competition. The AMV coordinator's curse was very strong this year...
